Zapraszamy na autorskie warsztaty, prowadzone przez Tomasza Kulbowskiego, w weekend 12-14.08.2016 w Lublinie. Będzie to kreatywne spotkanie, podczas którego Tomasz podzieli się z Wami swoimi doświadczeniami i przemyśleniami na temat fotografii ulicznej, a także praktyczną wiedzą. Tomasz zajmuje się fotografią uliczną od około 10 lat. Od tego czasu rzadko wychodzi z domu bez aparatu. Wierzy w wartość autorskiej dokumentacji rzeczywistości i rozwijanie osobistej, kreatywnej percepcji oraz wrażliwości wizualnej poprzez fotografię uliczną. Tomasz od zajmuje się promocją fotografii ulicznej i dokumentalnej, poprzez własną twórzczość, projekt Eastreet, a także poprzez warsztaty prowadzone w Polsce i poza granicami, z różnymi grupami, samodzielnie oraz wspólnie z innymi prowadzącymi (m.in. w kooperacji z WorkshopX). Obecnie realizowaną formułę doskonalił na ostatnich warsztatach w Mołdawii, Chorwacji oraz Tajlandii i uważa ją za najbardziej kompletną i efektywną.

On the occasion of the launch of 7 Days in Myanmar French edition at Magnum Photos in Paris, Magnum is excited to launch a new inspiring educational event – a Multimedia Workshop with Chien-Chi Chang.
It will take place from May 10th to 14th, 2014.

The 5-day intensive multimedia workshop is aimed at professionals and serious photography enthusiasts who aspire to improve their story telling to a higher ground by combining photographs, moving images and sound.

The participants (12 maximum) should arrive at the workshop with at least 80% of their editing materials ready i.e. photographs, audio clips, video clips, documents. The workshop focuses on video story telling skills and helps you define your own visual story telling style via multimedia.

Eyes in progress - Social Documentary workshop with Tomasz Gudzowaty

Photographer Tomasz Gudzowaty hosts a social documentary workshop at Eyes in Progress in Paris from 14 until 17 May. Gudzowaty began his photographic career with nature photography, later turning to social documentary. For the past few years he has focused on sports photography and is particularly interested in non-commercial sports. His work has been published in Max Magazine, L’Equipe, The Guardian, Newsweek, Forbes, Time, Photo, British Journal of Photography and Spook Magazine. Gudzowaty has won many of the profession’s premier contests, including nine previous World Press Photo awards, as well as Pictures of the Year and NPPA Best of Photojournalism awards. 

The workshop is open to professional photographers, advanced amateurs and journalists.
Applications will be open until April 14th, 2014

Photographe de Paris Match, Télé 7 Jours, Elle ou Salut les Copains, mais aussi réalisateur de films publicitaires et de longs métrages, la carrière de Jean-Marie Périer est immense. En décembre prochain, il animera une master class organisée par Eyes in Progress à Toulouse. Attention, le nombre de places disponibles est limité à 25 !

Interesting opportunity by the workshopX team! I highly recommend working with these guys, they have huge experience, practical knowledge, are highly devoted to whatever they do and they are fun and good people too! There are many workshops in India on the market, but I can't remember one that would be prepared in such details and focused on a very specific targets. If you want to build a portfolio, create a complete story, gain experience, learn about editing or specifics and logistics of working on bigger projects - you might want to consider March in Kolkata. Places are limited!

Why Kolkata? Because it’s a place which doesn’t leave anybody indifferent. This huge melting pot of races, religions and cultures – where at the skyscrapers’ feet flows a stream of scenes known from the medieval paintings and the most luxurious cars of the world roam the streets marked with mud and feces – attacks all the senses at once. Man pulled rickshaws, open air workshops, makeshift factories and stalls, countless human crowds, goats, cows and yellow taxi cabs – it all pulses together in a street procession that never ends, passing through heat, sweat and exhaust fumes mixed with the omnipresent smell of spices. Kolkata is India condensed within a very strong pill, which opens your eyes for things you weren’t aware of before. It’s an experience that can change the way you see the whole world.
To take this strong dose of sensations and experiences may be a challenge, but for those who dare to try it, awaits a great reward – stepping into the whole realm of unique microcosms vibrating within one living metropolis.

Ciekawa propozycja od ekipy WorkshopX! Bardzo polecam pracę z nimi - mają wiedzę, doświadczenie, są oddani temu co robią i do tego są fajnymi ludźmi! Na rynku jest trochę warsztatów w Indiach, ale nie pamiętam drugiego tak dopracowanego i zorientowanego na tak konkretne cele. Jeśli chcesz zbudować portfolio, stworzyć fotoreportaż, zdobyć doświadczenie, nauczyć się edycji lub specyfiki i logistyki pracy nad większymi projektami - rozważ marzec w Kalkucie. Ilość miejsc ograniczona!
