Fifty Awesome Photo Workshops Around the World

50-workshops-world-Peta-Pixel

You could go alone to New Zealand, Mexico, Cuba, or wherever your wanderlust takes you, and bring your camera along for the trip — hope to stumble upon the ‘photographic’ spots, and take some pictures you think might be good.
Or, you could sign up for an amazing, fully immersive photography workshop in an exotic locale with a pro photographer who knows the land, guides you to all the best spots, gives you feedback during critiques, and helps you edit your new travel portfolio along the way. We prefer the latter — and after finding out about all the amazing photography courses happening all over the world this year, we had to share. Wherever and whatever your heart desires to go and photograph, there’s probably a workshop to guide you through it.
Here’s a list of just some of the photography classes happening around the world in 2014. So throw a dart on a map, and follow your arrow wherever it points.

wykład o fotografii niemieckiej: Andrzej Marczuk (strona)

Partnerem projektu jest grupa Humans of Warsaw: https://www.facebook.com/HumansOfWarsawProject

Warsztaty poprowadzi Tomasz Wiech – fotograf, absolwent fotografii w Instytucie Twórczej Fotografii w Opavie. W latach 2004 – 2010 związany z „Gazetą Wyborczą”. Stypendysta Ministerstwa Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego (2010) oraz Narodowego Centrum Kultury (Młoda Polska, 2011). Laureat nagrody w konkursie World Press Photo 2009. Mieszka w Krakowie.

Udział w wydarzeniu jest bezpłatny. Na warsztaty obowiązuje rezerwacja miejsc: tel. +48 22 47 10 301; e-mail: rezerwacje@jewishmuseum.org.pl

Stockholm Photography Week 2014 - Workshops with Anders Petersen

© Anders Petersen
"I do things with people, not to people. I’d rather be someone’s fellow man than someone’s photographer."

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP 2014 - REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

Join Anders Petersen for a challenging and inspiring 5-day workshop at Fotografiska, April 2 - April 6, 2014. It will be five intense days of doing, feeling and talking about photography. Each afternoon you will get a photo assignments that you complete before the next morning when the discussions and critique take place. You are expected to work hard, and to challenge yourself and your photographic method, under the guidance of Anders Petersen. This is not a technical workshop. The workshop is in English.

SUBJECTIVE PHOTOGRAPHY

This workshop is about approaching photography from a subjective viewpoint where the images you take not only tell stories about someone else or somewhere else, but also say something about the photographer. But it is also very much about being bold and finding your own photographic voice (and eye) – working alone but besides and in dialogue with other participants and with Anders Petersen.
